Our
Vision
It Starts With Grace was created from the truth I’ve lived again and again: healing doesn’t happen all at once. It begins quietly, gently, and often in places we least expect—with family, with faith, with a stubborn goat nuzzling your hand on a hard day, or with God whispering hope back into a tired heart.
My vision for this space is to share the kind of beauty that grows out of broken things—how grief can soften into compassion, how motherhood can bloom in unconventional ways, and how farm life can become a sacred classroom where God teaches, comforts, and restores.
But It Starts With Grace is not only about our story.
It’s also about what this farm is becoming.
Building a Goat Dairy Rooted in Purpose
We’re dreaming toward a small, intentional goat dairy—one built not just for milk, but for ministry. A place where healthy, happy goats help provide nourishment, community, and connection. A dairy where grace is part of the business model, where people can see where their food comes from, and where the farm becomes a gathering place for learning, laughter, and healing.
Goat Therapy for the Heart and Mind
Our goats have walked us through some of our hardest seasons—bringing comfort without words and teaching us presence, patience, and peace. We want to share that gift.
We plan to offer goat-assisted therapy sessions for:
🧒 Kids who have experienced trauma
🪖 Veterans living with PTSD
💛 Anyone in need of a gentle space to breathe again
The vision is a quiet corner of the farm where people can sit with the goats, reconnect with the earth beneath them, and feel the weight of the world lift for a moment. A place where God uses His creation—simple, humble, tender—to soothe wounded hearts and remind them they are not alone.
A Place Where Stories, Healing, and Hope Meet
Through motherhood, memories of Addison, the chaos and comfort of our herd, and the daily lessons God speaks through this land, It Starts With Grace strives to:
✨ Encourage those walking through grief or transition
✨ Share hope that healing is possible, even slowly
✨ Celebrate farm life with honesty, humor, and heart
✨ Offer a safe space for others to feel seen and held
✨ Build a community shaped by faith, compassion, and grace
My prayer is that everyone who visits—whether in person or online—walks away knowing this:
Grace is where healing starts,
and love is what keeps it growing.
