Vision Statement

To create a grace-filled homestead where healing, hope, and connection grow—through family, faith, and the gentle presence of our goats.
Our vision is a farm that not only sustains us but serves others: a place where a small goat dairy provides nourishment and community, and where goat-assisted therapy offers comfort and restoration to children who have experienced trauma, veterans living with PTSD, and anyone who needs a reminder that God still brings beauty from broken places.
It Starts With Grace exists to show that healing can happen through simple things—quiet moments, compassionate creatures, steady hands, and the faithful love of God.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to nurture a home and farm where grace is at the center of everything we do.
Through storytelling, homestead living, and hands-on work with our goats, we aim to:

1. Support Healing

Provide a safe, peaceful space where children with trauma, veterans with PTSD, and individuals seeking emotional grounding can experience goat-assisted therapy and the calming presence of nature.

2. Build Community

Develop a small, intentional goat dairy that connects people to their food, fosters relationships, and encourages others to learn, grow, and find joy in simple living.

3. Share Hope Through Our Story

Use the real, tender, sometimes messy pieces of our life—motherhood, loss, resilience, farm life, and faith—to offer encouragement and remind others that grace meets us right where we are.

4. Honor God in Every Step

Steward our land, animals, and relationships with compassion, gratitude, and integrity, trusting that God can use this little farm to bless those who walk through it.
